Have you looked in your
pet's mouth lately? Why not? Bad Breath? That could be caused by plaque and
tartar on your pet's teeth and gums. 85% of dogs will have periodontal disease
by the age of 3!!! Yes, 3! Plaque and Tartar can lead to bad breath, tooth
pain, loss of teeth and infection. The infection can travel to the heart,
lungs, liver and other vital areas. Tooth infection can lead to death. Yes, it
is hard to imagine, especially when you can do something about it!.
Preventative care is not hard! Nor does it have to break the bank.
One day each month our shop hosts, Julie Shinew, a dog and cat dentist. She has been cleaning and scaling pet teeth for over 30 years. She started working in a Vet's office.
There is no sedation involved. Julie uses massage and relaxation techniques to
calm your pet before cleaning. Julie will also provide you with a toothbrush and daily techniques to keep your dog's and cat's teeth clean. She has several veterinarians who recommend her!
If you have a dog or cat that is not a
candidate for anesthesia, then this is for you.
** This is intended as a non-surgical, very effective DENTAL CLEANING, to help dog and cat owners prevent Periodontal Disease. This is not intended to take the place of necessary dental surgery.
